With traditional rulers of Akpet One during the TES project.

The study which is aimed to check
Antimalarial drug efficacy, is assessed through therapeutic efficacy studies (TES).
The project is conducted in three different zones in the country, and my LGA being selected as the test centre for the South south region gives me happiness. I watched more than 30 of my people undergo the test and was assured by the project team that those tested will be treated accordingly.

Samples being collected for the therapeutic efficacy study

TES are conducted in a controlled environment in which drug administration is supervised, the results of microscopic examinations of blood films are validated, and the origin and quality of the drugs are verified.
